Rates are certainly important and top of mind for most buyers, but as a “reason” to buy or not is kind of a different story.
Could be anything: having a payment goal, needing a lower rate to qualify, thinking the market will turn soon or what they hear from family or on-line etc..
Not bad questions at all and good to keep them in mind, but the one thing in common is that they’re all “assumptions.”
The “assumption” is the end point we’re trying to get too. But it’s difficult or impossible to know where that end is without a starting point.
That’s why I always say: “it’s never too early to have a plan.” 😊
Let’s establish our foundation to see what we’re working with. Look at the goal: price, payment etc… Then make a game plan of how to get them from where they are to where they want to be!
Sure there’s math, timing, need, philosophy etc…that all go into decision making. But knowing the starting point and having a plan is priceless!
